The heart behind my work
Real Change Happens When Families Feel Supported
Coaching gives parents space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect — a chance to rebuild energy and find balance again. Whether you’re adjusting after a diagnosis, moving through burnout, or preparing for a new season, small, steady steps can make home feel calmer and kinder.
I work with parents to strengthen wellbeing, connection, and confidence — especially when life’s challenges ask more than any one person can carry.
Together, we look at what helps you feel supported and grounded, and turn those insights into realistic steps that honour your values and your family story (your whakapapa).
I work with parents and families to strengthen wellbeing, connection, and confidence.
I work with parents and whānau to strengthen wellbeing (hauora), connection, and confidence — especially when life’s challenges ask more than one person can carry.
Together, we identify what helps you feel supported, equipped, and prepared — and turn those insights into small, sustainable steps that honour your whakapapa (family story) and values.

My Story
Meet Mathilde: Parent Coach | Relationship Advocate | Gentle Thinker
My work began alongside families of medically fragile children, where strength and vulnerability sit side by side every day. I’ve seen what a difference it makes when parents feel equipped, supported, and understood — and how clarity grows when there’s space for their own experience too.
This is the heart of my work: creating calm, compassionate support where parents can breathe again and begin to trust their inner wisdom.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in coaching psychology, multiple brain integration (mBIT), nervous system science, and perinatal–parental wellbeing.
Each session honours the whole person — your body, mind, spirit, and the whānau around you — in a way that feels gentle, steady, and practical.
Village Building (My Framework)
I call my approach Village Building — supporting parents and the people around them to create circles of care that are practical, relational, and sustainable.
Together, we create pathways of support that uphold your dignity and strengthen the relationships that matter most.
“Mathilde made me feel comfortable right from the start. She’s kind, compassionate, and a truly attentive listener. Her knowledge spans both medical understanding and the deeper psychological reasons behind unhelpful habits, which gave me insights I’d never considered before. I appreciated how she worked with me to address the root causes, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our sessions have helped me tremendously — I’ve gained practical tools and new ways to approach lifelong health challenges. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”*
