Multiple Brain Integration Techniques - let all my brains talk!

Updated: Jun 20, 2023

There’s nothing like stressful times to bring out the worst in yourself, AND… there is also the potential to bring out the best. I strongly believe that every person is designed with the resources to face what life throws at them, I know, you probably don’t feel like it right now, because let’s face it, having a baby is like being on a rollercoaster, you’re in for a wild ride and you can’t stop it. Stuff can really get in the way of accessing those mental and emotional resources. A few years ago I learned about mBIT coaching, also called mBraining, after coaching and supporting families through difficult times, it made so much sense to me that I decided to train as an mBIT coach.

What is mBIT coaching and how does it work?

You’re probably familiar with expressions such as: “I’m trusting my gut on this one,” or “My heart’s not in it,” or “I’m too much in my head at the moment.” Science is showing that there is much more truth in those expressions than we’ve ever thought. Several scientific sources tell us that the gut is lined with an excess of 100 million neural cells, sending more messages to the brain, than the brain sends to the gut. The same can be said about the heart, the heart’s nervous system is so complex that it is able to act independently of the cranial (head) brain to learn, remember, make decisions, and even feel and sense. So you could say that next to our head-brain, we also have a heart-brain and a gut-brain. And talking about feelings, we find that generally matters of the heart are centered around relationships and trust, while matters of the gut are much to do with identity and movement, and our head-brain is the place where we make meaning of what we experience. These are just a few examples of course, but from here it is not difficult to understand that, depending on our experience, we sometimes have a block that hinders communication between the different brains, It can cause us to get stuck, can stop us from making decisions, and make it difficult for us to access our inner resources to help us deal with difficult stuff. mBIT coaching stands for multiple Brain Integration Techniques, and is designed to help you re-integrate your different brains, and get them talking again, so to speak (pun intended). Once the channels of communication are open, you will discover that you have a lot more wisdom, strength, and resilience than you thought.

At Eaglevision, we are here to hold a space for you to regather yourself and dig up those mental and emotional resources that I know you have in you.

Your head, heart, and gut are talking to you.
Listen to your heart, it's talking to you!
